Toll Brothers, a renowned homebuilder headquartered in Fort Washington, continues its expansion in Bucks County with the acquisition of a 61-acre parcel located at 107 Twining Bridge Road in Newtown. This purchase, made from Philadelphia Catholic Cemeteries LLC—an entity affiliated with the Archdiocese of Philadelphia—marks another significant step in the company’s ongoing development spree in the region.

Plans for Lyondale Meadows: A Blend of Housing and Open Space

The newly acquired property is slated for a community named Lyondale Meadows, featuring 45 single-family homes. Unlike Toll Brothers’ original plans to develop 158 acres at the site—which were rejected by Newtown Township in 2022—the revised project concentrates development within a smaller footprint. The updated plans allow for homes to be built closer together, preserving 100 acres of open space. This open space will be donated to Newtown Township, enhancing community resources and aligning with local planning priorities.

Growing Footprint in Bucks County

Lyondale Meadows is not the only project showcasing Toll Brothers’ commitment to Bucks County. The company is also constructing 137 townhomes at Doylestown Walk and recently acquired a 17-acre site in Sellersville. The Sellersville development will cater to individuals aged 55 and older, featuring 72 townhomes designed for active adults. These projects underline Toll Brothers’ strategy to diversify its offerings and cater to a wide range of homebuyers in the region.

A Legacy of Quality and Expansion

Toll Brothers has long been recognized for its high-quality homes and thoughtfully designed communities. With this latest acquisition in Newtown and other ongoing projects, the company solidifies its position as a key player in Bucks County’s residential real estate market. Prospective buyers can look forward to meticulously crafted homes set within vibrant communities, while local residents benefit from preserved open spaces and improved infrastructure.
